If you like wild orchids you will love Beetor Farm! We visited today as part of the Open Meadows calendar and were blown away by the wonderful displays of Greater butterfly orchids (in their hundreds), Southern marsh and Heath spotted and I may have seen a Pyramidal too, although it may also have been red clover (thanks Obsidentify!).
Steve Pollard's farm is an oasis for these beautiful plants and there is nothing to disappoint in terms of the scenery, walk, field information and generous knowledge provided by the host. If you are free tomorrow between 11am and 3pm, I highly recommend a visit.
