If you’re interested in learning about the nationally rare harvest mouse and how to look for their nests in rough grassland (and how to submit your findings), this two hour field survey maybe for you.
The survey will be run by mammal expert Sarah Butcher from the Devon Harvest Mouse Project and will take place in a beautifully situated field at Brook Manor, Buckfastleigh, where over twenty nests have previously been recorded.
On Friday 23rd February 2024 (weather permitting)
at 1.30pm-3.30pm
No previous experience necessary, come and have fun for two hours. Tea & cake provided.
