Viola palustris seeds!
Hello! I am leading a conservation project on the Marsh Fritillary in the postbridge area of Dartmoor. I am working to improve the diversity of the rhos pasture habitat and would like to increase the presence of marsh violet on our site, as it is the food plant of the small pearl bordered fritillary which we also have here. These seeds will be used as part of our community outreach to engage with care homes in the local area. I would really like to use locally sourced seeds, but am struggling to find any! Could anyone advise on where I might be able to source them?

That sounds like a great project. I'd be surprised if you'll source commercially collected seed, especially of local provenance. Your best bet will be to collect the seed yourself and grow plug plants. There's a thread about collecting/sowing viola seeds here: viewtopic.php?t=160 Good luck.
