Low nutrient soil policy for Highways

A new initiative by Highways England will see all grassland areas on improvement schemes finished with low nutrient soil. This is to encourage the growth of wildflowers, rather than aggressive grasses, nettle and dock - from The Moorlander, 11th December 2020.

Credit where it'd due to Highways England. I seem to remember reading once they plant more trees than the Forestry Commission :)
