The next Moor Meadows talk is:
Masons, Miners and Scissors - Wild Bees of the Meadows
7.30pm, Friday 4th October, Jubilee Hall, Chagford
Ecologist John Walters last gave a fascinating talk on wild bees in 2019 and we thought it’s time to do one again, with a focus on how to create and enhance habitats that offer a variety of nesting sites.
Also, if you’ve ever wondered if honeybees are competing with wild pollinators for resources, Maisie Brett, a PhD researcher from Bristol University, will be sharing the findings of her cutting-edge research.
We hope you can join us for an evening of inspiration!
As ever, the talks are free, but donations are welcome to help cover the cost of running the event.
If you’d like to come, please reserve your place here: https://wildbeestalk.eventbrite.co.uk
