Newbridge Conservation open day on Sunday 2/7

Post by LisaSchneidau »

Hello all

Do join us at the Newbridge conservation site on Sunday, 2nd July, 12 noon - 4pm, where there'll be a free open day: come and see a four acre field developing into semi-wild wood pasture.

There'll be a range of family-orinented activities including storytelling and species hunts. Bring a picnic and enjoy this peaceful area in the river Dart valley.

This private site sits at the top of Hannaford lane, on Newbridge Hill, next to a breeding stronghold for rare fritillary butterflies. It is steep and uneven, so stout footwear is essential. Sorry, but no dogs.

Parking at Newbridge car park and walk up the lane, or at the top of Newbridge hill.
