Despite the lack of frost over the winter and the dry Spring it looks like being a fabulous year for yellow rattle with over 100 plants per square metre.

Thanks Brian. We've also got very good germination where I put down green hay 2 years ago - and it is spreading slowly (despite haymaking). However, where I spread seeds on verges and some track-sides, the germination seems to have been very poor! It's not easy to establish without either green hay or opening up the sward/soil.
