Creeping Thistle Rust? maybe we can help each other?

Hello
We have creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense) , creeping too much! Do you? If so we would really like to connect please!
We are going to try a biological control where we collect spores from creeping thistle rust (trhis is species specific as the name suggests) and manually apply it to our clumps. Ours is a healthy patch with no creeping thistle rust so a colleague has sent me some spores from Derbyshire. It would be so much better if we could collect the spores fresh.
Please see this video with more details about this method of control
The film was made in Canada but my colleague has been working with them and it seems to be working.
Thank you
