Yellow Rattle

This is one of many healthy patches of yellow rattle that have popped up in our meadow.
So exciting to see them popping up everywhere!
We scattered lots of seed last autumn, and thought it would be mostly washed away - our meadow is a 400 metre stretch of the river Teign, which floods at least once every winter. Last winter storm Bert created an exceptional flood, but the rattle was determined.
Thank you to all who contributed seed!

Thought this was what I had growing but have identified it as vetch. Would like to start some of off this autumn.
