Grants up to £2,000 are available to transform an urban green space with UK native plants or fungi, encourage wildlife and involve your local community.
Funded by Grow Wild, the outreach programme run by Kew Gardens.
There are two schemes:
Community Programme – up to £2,000 to transform an urban space with UK native plants or fungi, encourage wildlife and involve your local community. These grants are only for urban areas, defined as settlements with at least 10,000 inhabitants. Applications can be made by voluntary, youth and community groups, residents’ associations and health boards.
Youth Grants – £500 grants for 16 to 25 year olds with an idea for a project to champion UK native plants and/or fungi. You can apply as an individual or as a group of up to 6 people (you will need a Supporting Organisation to support your application and receive the grant on your behalf).
