How to Create a Nature Reserve on an Acre (or less).
7.30pm, 7th & 14th November 2023

Have you heard the shocking conservation news that one is six species in Great Britain is facing extinction?

Come to this Moor Meadows talk and learn everything you need to know about how to transform a small plot of land, or garden, into a thriving nature reserve by wildlife conservation expert, Ed Parr Ferris, from Devon Wildlife Trust.

Whether you have an acre or more, or less, or a garden, or you’re simply just passionate about nature’s recovery, come to our free talk and be inspired.

The talk is running in two locations:

7th November, 7.30pm, Stockland Village Hall, Stockland, near Honiton.
Book here: https://Naturereservetalkhoniton.eventbrite.co.uk
AND
14th November, 7.30pm, The Watermark, Ivybridge.
Book here: https://NaturereservetalkIvybridge.eventbrite.co.uk

Find out how to make the most of your patch’s potential. Flower-rich meadows are a priority habitat but there is much else we can add to make a significant positive impact for wildlife.

Learn about different habitats and their management and what species you could likely attract.

Find out how your land relates to the wider network of wildlife corridors and important sites for nature in the landscape.

The talk is free but we'd appreciate a small donation to help us bring you more inspiring events :)

The Stockland talk is brought to you by Moor Meadows and the new East Devon Meadows Group.
