Hemlock Water Dropwort

Hi everybody, this is my first post so go easy I have recently learnt our short length of watercourse is full of HWD. Now I know how to identify the plant I notice it is pretty much everywhere in the area. I am concerned about public safety and would like to know whether I should manage it or not? Thanks, Simon
