What do people think about Green Alkanet? It seems it is non-native, but the bees love it. I don't think it is classified as an 'invasive species' but I've seen it spreading along roadside verges and am not sure whether it is "pushing out" other species.
I'd be interested to hear what others think.

I recently visited The Garden House, near Yelverton, which is a fabulous garden open to the public, I think it's Carol Klein's favourite, and they grow Green Alkanet in the borders. I hope this helps.
