Simply survey your meadow - whatever its size or species richness - just once this summer, anytime between 1st June and 31st August.

No expertise needed! We’ll provide all the resources you need, including survey training and exclusive access to mini video guides. Learn what defines a species-rich meadow, improve your plant ID skills, and contribute to vital biodiversity records for Devon. Last year’s pilot project revealed remarkable results - several participants discovered their meadows were so plant-diverse that they qualified for County Wildlife Site designation, the equivalent of a gold medal for habitat conservation in the UK.
Already have a professional meadow survey?If you’ve had a botanical survey within the last five years, The Devon Biodiversity Records Centre would greatly appreciate your data contributions, if you’re happy to share your findings.
