Meadow hay
We are lucky enough to rent a wonderful old meadow over the summer which we run our calves and their mums on the bottom part of, and cut the top for hay. Here is a picture of the meadow at its very best in June, and pictures of birdsfoot trefoil and knapweed, found in the hay this weekend. Treasure from the summer in January.
