Survey in long grass

I'd be grateful for any advice in tying to do a survey in a meadow with long grass, 2-3ft tall. Hopefully if not wet , can still sift down to lower levels and try and identify anything other than the grasses at a lower level...

This sounds like a very helpful option potentially , subject to affordability for Parish Council managed areas which typically are just left mown and cuttings remain in situ. I'm thinking that reducing fertility over time could reduce nettle and dock dominance?

Removing cut material - Exminster

We have a parish council managed meadow of a couple of acres or so - at the moment it is mown and cuttings left in situ, We want to try and remove them - too much to do by hand , but have no idea where to turn for someone who has the kit and could do this - I guess the cuttings of grass , which will...
