Don't worry they will regrow, from the base. You don't need to scarify, you may damage seedling that you might want to keep. You will start seeing new growth as soon as the soil warms up. Hi Rebecca If you can't find buyers, you may find a local farmer will cut and bale it for you in exchange for the hay.
